Week #11 CCC

 Simply Simplify.....................

Another week another page for the CC Challenge book I am making, challenges set by Linda over at Studio L3.
I have kept it simple this week just using the technique. DI's used are wild honey, chipped sapphire, antique linen and stamps Tim Holtz sets visual artistry collections.
Page inked first with wild honey and flourish stamped over then added chipped sapphire, for the tag I inked with antique linen and wild honey, then added chipped sapphire. then added philosophy tag "simplify" with brad and foliage from TH idea-ology.

I will pop by and have a look at as many as I can this week.

CCC week #10

My Grandson has gone home we have had a brilliant time, I am exhausted but wouldn't have it any other way to spend time with him has been just great, we even did some crafting together he made pictures with my stamps and a bookmark and we made two mini books with all his favourite character stickers in and his fav colour RED there was some blue and yellow too, lol we have had a great time.

Last week I missed the deadline for CCC #9 I have  posted my creation which was done ultra quick last sunday night and you can see it here if you want to peek!

Soooooo last night I got stuck in (pun intended) to the latest CC challenge Distress Stickles, over at  Studio L3 set by the fabulous Linda.  Now I have only got two colours of Distress Stickles which are Frayed Burlip and Vintage Photo, this is where the challenge began - how to use them with effect.  This is what I came up with for my latest page in my book I am compiling.

The background was made using wild honey (top) and crushed olive (bottom) I stamped in crushed olive, dried marigold and bundled sage, stamped the words and punched out inking with the DI, flower made from book pages and punches added Dsitress Stickles to edges in both colours, Grunge dragonfly was coloured with crushed olive and vintage photo DS added, Grunge butterfly worn lipstick and DS added in frayed burlip. Vintage photo DS was added to the bottom of page, just because I can!! LOL.

Distressed and Crackled.........
I think the title sums me up perfectly at the moment  LOL; as you can see from my lack of blogging I am still busy with my grandson staying with us leaving little time to craft. So a very quick post today.
Over at Studio L3 Week 9 CCC again and  I have managed week 9 challenge I am determined to play each week late though it is.  I used ATC size paper from TH retrogrunge paper stack and and the paris stamps from visual artistry the rest I followed from the CC book - sorry can't share. The heart is a grundgeboard shape and painted in ranger watermelon and crackled. I stamped the design onto the ATC in Barn door and used rock candy distress crackles, I then applied aged mahogany DI as instructed. hope I make deadline  there is only a few hours UK time till week 10 is posted hopefully I can play tonight.

Edited   Link was clossed so I couldn't link post as I was too late for the deadline but at least I gotthe challenge done before the next challenge was posted!!!

INKING GRUNGE

Week 8 already of the great CC challenge from Linda at Studio L3.  I have only just managed to play as have had a busy week with my grandson so this weeks effort is not very exciting due to lack of time and tiredness, I had forgotten how exhausting a 5year old can be!!!

I was determined to play and so here is my effort late but just under the wire in time.  I have used DI dusty concord, black soot, barn door and black versafine. Tag is sizzix die. Stamps TH Stampers anonymous.

Sorry I haven't had time to look around all your art but I will and leave comments as soon as I get a moment.

See you tomorrow for week 9
