COMPENDIUM OF CURIOSITIES WEEK #6

Here we are again as happy as can be - omg can you see me skipping along singing this song - no, well good job its not a pretty site!! LOL.  Another Monday has come and gone which means another challenge for CC from  StudioL3 and the lovely Linda who has made Monday a joy and I can't wait for each one - I'm wishing my life away here I know but its all in a good cause - ART.
This weeks challenge is to....................... nope sorry you have to have the CC book and then join in all the fun it's a great book from the Master himself Tim Holtz and packed full of gorgeousness.  Enough waffle now and on to my piece for this week, I am making a page for each technique which I shall bind together at the end - except for last week I just had to make a hanging so will have to do last weeks challenge again - oh what a chore - not!!! I loved it; to add to the book.
I have used the TH alterations Die Hanging Sign cut in grundge board and DI rusty hinge - it does what it says on the lid and stormy sky and aged mahogany. The W6 (week 6) and flowers are grundgeboard from nature plain pieces pack were done...... in the technique..... and the background is one I made ages ago with DI and swooshed the inks onto the card, this was cut with a nesties labels die.

I also completed my book cover which I did in W#4 challenge, see here with this technique by adding CCC which are grundgeboard pieces from nature plain pack; the paper I used was from an old book from a car boot , the book is a pre decimal conversion book for all those of you in the UK who remember decimialization - I do unfortunately; lol.  I also stamped corners in walnut stain for the background page which was cut using TH on the edge die.
A double wammy this week and I got to play on Monday!! even though I couldn't post till today as too late to take piccies last night.

Thanks for looking and for all the lovely comments you have left in previous weeks I'm off to have a peek at all the other entries now
Bye for now
