Hi
Country View Challenges February challenge is Drips and Drops so yesterday I had a lovely day playing in my craft room and getting very very messy I have ended up with several backgrounds for other projects as making Drips and Drops didn't turn out quite as I thought, It really was a challenge to get a result I was happy with, by the end of my session I really was up to my elbows in paint and messy stuff it was great.
The background I finally decided on was made with Alcohol Inks on glossy card, throw in my favourite man and some of my favourite Tim Holtz stamps and this was the result..........
Umbrella Man was die cut twice and layered up to give more dimension all the stamping was heat embossed with ultra fine black EP.
I mounted the picture into a black card frame which also got the Stamping and EP treatment the grey border was a little pale so I painted this with pewter distress stains...much better.
Hope you have enjoyed looking at my project and thank you for popping in ......
What an amazing background Maggie, it's like a rainbow that's come out after all the rain. Thanks for your comment you left me at A Vintage Journey, I'm glad I inspired you.
