After searching my stamps to find anything that might resemble fireworks I decided on this Star stamp which is from Tim Holtz Christmas Set, just use imagination and think fireworks and it works......
I have used distress inks - chipped sapphire, seedless preserve and dusty concord for the background on white card. Fireworks (stamp from Tim Holtz Christmas collection) stamped in versamark and embossed with various EP colours - fine detail gold, white twinkle and golden ocean. This photo shows the sparkle a little.
Sorry bad photo tried to focus on the words and lighting is not good today but you can see sparkle!!
I really had fun making this project thank you Vintage Journey for stretching my little grey cells.

ReplyDeleteWell done, Maggie! If I were on the nominating committee, this would be a winner! Love your thought process, and your execution of all your techniques is fantastic! I was trying so hard to picture fireworks, and just gave up the ghost and went for the sparklies they leave in my head! See, we all have a dangerous place on top of our necks! Hugs!
