CCC Week #18

Santa Post Tag

Wahoooo I'm back what a terrible few weeks I have had, firstly I was ill with a dreadful flu/cold then my computer crashed and died, it came back from the 'puter' doctor last night and my first port of call was the CC Challenge set by the lovely Linda at Studio L3 after missing week #17 which hopefully I will catch up on; I was determined not to miss this week and what a lovely surprise I had when I turned to  page 37 I had not tried this technique before Wow I love it it is so easy and I will be using it many many times I'm sure, in fact the hardest thing I found was cleaning the stamp as in my excitement I let the paint dry before cleaning the stamp - note to self don't do this again!!! that swirl is so fine.

I used Dabber paint Cloudy Blue (didn't have white so used palest I had) DI; worn lipstick, pine needles, shabby shutters, crushed olive ; Stamps Tim Holtz swirl from shabby french plate and Santa Post card stamp; other Images from Stampin' Up! Winter Post stamp set.

I'm going to wiz over to the see what everyone else has been upto this week and leave some comments sorry if I don't get round them all.
Bye for now

  7. Maggie, I'm so sorry you've been sick, and that your computer died! Wow, that's a double-whammy, and I hope you're feeling much better.

Your dabber resist tag sure is gorgeous! So pretty, in fact, that you put me right into the holiday spirit. The flourishes are GORGEOUS with the classic Christmas colors, and I love the little reindeer looking up at Santa. I'm glad you enjoyed the technique-- it's really fun, isn't it??

BTW, I keep an old, soft toothbrush in my little stamp clean-up tote, and it has saved many a stamp from the dreaded, dried paint of doom! ;-)
